Since gas prices are going up, not cheep in the North East and you use heat more then half the year, I'd say a high efficency boiler is worth it and could save you more then 10%. Modulating condensing boilers are great with indirects as they will adjust to the load. Full blast for inidrect heating and can trottle back in Spring and Fall when the radiators don't need to be at 180°. The bigest benefit is gained in low temp radiant, since you'll operate the boiler at condensation point temps on the return water. If price is an issue, simpler condensation boilers like Dunkirk Quantum 90 or wall hung boilers should be looked at (Baxi Luna)
