Can anyone tell me if I should avoid using glycol antifreeze in my new hydronic system? I am building a room over a garage in Canada (definitley cold in winter). The room and the garage both will be radiant heated. I get mixed answers from the local heating guys whether or not I should bother with glycol.
Also, can engineered hardwood be nailed over radiant piping? Most installers are concerned with nail puncture. I don't want to suspend the radiant pipes as it reduces efficiency. Thanks
