I also had a Burnham V73 boiler that cracked. It turns out that there is a KNOWN manufacturing defect with that boiler. Burnham nevered issued a recall. Instead, they replaced the boiler under the 10 year warranty. HOWEVER, the warranty does not cover the cost of labor. Burnham did pay $500 of the $1600 that it cost to remove and install the new boiler, but given the fact that Burnham knowingly distributed thousands of faulty boilers without issuing a recall, I plan to persue the remainder of the labor cost through other means. How many other people were victimized by purchasing a defective product from Burnham and suffered damage to there homes from the water that leaked?
