Ok, I'll try the estimate. I'm ASSUMING the 97,000 btu did it before, but I don't know that becuase it was already converted when I bought the house.
I guess the advantage of having the heating guys do all the work is that if my house only makes it to 50 degrees on the coldest day they have to make it right.

: Don't worry about windchills. Because human skin feels like it is -80F doesn't mean a house has to be designed for that. It just needs to be designed for the average coldest that the THERMOMETER shows you. If your 97,000 btuh boiler did it for you before, a new one that size will do it again. Weather is not a yo-yo that goes from -10F to -80F every few years with the wind speed.
