As the copper tube is already installed, leave it alone and look at it periodically. There may never be a problem, so it is not necessary to wonder about impending failure. It can always be replaced; but it is not worth tearing out and doing it again. There is a probability that someday in the future, the line where the water and air meet will be corroded, but not next year.
