Yoy guys were very helpful on my last question I have one more. I have a 7 year old crown boiler,175000 btu,4 zone baseboard heat. My water heater (stand alone gas) 50 gal is also 7 years old and does not supply enough hot water,if a couple of people are using it at the same time. The t/stat is set at 120F,but the recovery rate is not fast enough. The house has (3) full baths & (1) half bath with 5 people living there. I would like to make an educated decision before it is an emergency when it fails. Do I replace it with a high efficiency stand alone 70 gal? Or do I add a 5th zone to my boiler and hook it to an indirect fired water heater such as an Amtrol model. Which option will give me the best efficiency with most hot water? Is it possible to have the best of both worlds?
