Hello,
I have just installed a whole house water filter system and had to shut some water valves to stop water dripping. I can't remember if I shut off the main cold water to the boiler off or if it was already off. Does this continusly feed the system or is it only to refill? The cold water pipe branches off to the back also after the shut off valve. Does this stay off or get turned back on? It is a 30 yo Federal boiler if that matters. I am nurvous about using the heat untill I know.
