: The boiler system does not have a manifold as I have seen in pictures of radiant floor heating where all the tubes come into separate shut offs. The boiler in three runs in total, are joined to two pipes coming out of the boiler.

: Do I need to add a manifold and do some reconfiguration of piping at the boiler? If not, is there a certain spot that I should branch off from and can I add shut off valves at the beginning and end of the loops?

: The existing piping is metal (I assume probally galvanized), can I use a plastic type hosing (kitec?) or should I stay with what the rest of the system is?

: If you can advise me so I do not loose any efficiency of the heating system, that would be greatly appreciated.
