I agree with HK. Just to ROUGHLY do a basic check yourself if there is a GOOD WORKING thermometer on your boiler: It should always be at 160F or so to get 130F out of the coil until the burner heats again. When you open a tap watch the boiler temp drop. If it drops and the boiler does not come on soon it looks like the controller. If you get the taps running good and the boiler temp doesn't drop the coil is so limed-up that it doesn't cool the boiler. It could be some of both etc.
