We're trying to get a steam radiator apart to paint it, but we're not actually sure if they come apart! Can we take it apart? If not, how do you paint it? It's already been sand blasted, though it could use more scrubbing with a wire brush! We've taken the thin tubes out, but there are large nuts at the top and bottom. They are very tight and, so far we aren't able to budge them, and are afraid to try. I assume we can heat them, but would like to know if we should even try to take them apart. Any help would be appreciated.
