I use a Gentle Janitor coal stoker to provide heat (forced hot water baseboard system) and hot water for my house. Until the past year I have not had any trouble maintaining the fire in this boiler. However, recently the fire has gone out and the raw coal that continues to feed has caused a cleanup problem. I have tried riddling the coal to extract any waste but the fire still goes out periodically. I would appreciate any input as to the possible causes of this problem. Thanks!
