1999 Nat'l Fuel Gas Code Tables give 158,000 Btuh for a 5"x20' chimney with a 5' lateral and two elbows of single wall connector. Actually a 4" is rated at 100,000 if 2' lateral. If you want to add a second appliance such as a water heater, the connector after the second appliance has to be 6", but still a 5" chimney for 156,000 Btu.
