I'm about to install an Amtrol indirect fired boiler mate water heater and have a question.
First, I have 2 heat zones with zone valves. A circulator is mounted to the boiler return 2" inlet pipe.
The water heater also has its own circulator. The question is Do I need to bypass the boiler's circulator or just connect into the return before the
circulator? Amtrol recommends doing it this way, but is it necessary? Are there some other options?
Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks.
