I'm concerned about the noise I'm hearing in my single system pipe returns. It sounds metallic, like pieces of metal are coming down.
I spoke with the heating contractor and he suggested a water filter system be added to clean my incoming water supply...our town water system is quite old.
I also noticed rusty sediment around some of the piping coming into a few of my radiators. Where the valve? control knob is located.
As I just had a new boiler installed...I don't want all this to cause problems in the future.
Any advise is greatly appreciated!!!!
