What is the nameplate size in Btu on your old? That's an expensive boiler. There can be many other costs that can add considerably. Both brands are of high quality, some will argue that some brands use elastomeric rings between sections vs old time steel nipples. I would trust either. You have to find out why your old one failed also and fix that.
