I replied to your earlier post. The 177sq is 177sq ft of grate surface for coal firing as is the mechanical and hand fired ratings. You should havew someone good come in and look at the system overall. Just a minor improvement in efficiency would cover any fee. There is a lot to it, and a lot to be gained by doing it right.
