I've made several mistakes,-
1. The two-story 2,000 sqft. house I live has 9 radiators, all but one were working, as I figures there might be air trapped in the radiators, I drained the boiler through the valve at the bottom of it, bunch of noise was heard. That left 6 out of 9 radiators out cold.
2. I opened the bleeding valves of the radiator units with a valve key. It appeared that instead of leting the air out, the radiator is sucking the air into it, even when the radiators are hot.
3. I decided to open all the valves, and now I have 1 1/2 radiators in the house that puts out heat.
I am stomping my foot for not checking it this forum earlier. Can anyone help, please? After you laughing at my stupidity....

Ps. The house is 80-year old, and the boiler is made by "American - " which I can bearly read, and there is a motor about 10" dia.x 6" attached to one of the pipes that connected to the water-tank-like metal tank on top of the boiler.
