Bill,

I just removed one from the kitchen area.

It was hissing and dripping. I went to Home Depot
and bought some graphite packing in the plumbing dept. It cost about $2.00. Where your shutoff
valve is located at the radiator, there is a nut behind the knob and valve stem rund through, inside this area is concaved and requires packing in the concave area. Also I bought a washer (thin) that would fit over the stem so when you tighten the nut down the washer compresses the packing into the concave area. Graphite was used
for the original packing.

No more hissing or leaks...
