You try'n to get us all killed? In truth, the optimal temperature for efficiency is the same as the outdoor temp. The optimal for a home full of naturalists or diabetics etc is about 76F. Don't tell him who said it, but go get an exotic parrot that will call him "sweetie" then you'll have an excuse for the 74F.
