I HAVE A ONE FAMILY HOME tudor colional there's a cast iron radiator in my basement that do not get hot it's hung on the ceiling, it does not have a steam valve on it look like a two pipe system but the rest of the radiator in my house is a one pipe system, I don't know if I need to put a valve on it.
