: I know there is a serious purpose for this; you might narrow the research down to units similar to yours using the same fuel. Comparing oil-fired, gas-fired, and bunker oil-fired plants would yield a wide variable. The request might be construed to have an interest in clothes-cleaning shops, laundries and hotels as well.
Thank you for your reply. In that direction,
we have an 900,000 sqft corporate park which
uses approximately 60,000 mmbtu per year. We
currently have a third party company operating
the 6 megawatt, cogeneration facility at the
site, and pay $24 per mmbtu (not including electric).
We feel this amount is on the high side and are trying to get a sense
of what folks in the New England region are
paying. Any help much appreciated. Robert
