The conditions of the measurements remained the same. The interesting part is that the efficiency drops only in the first some 1000 hours of operation by 2 or 3 percent. Even if you do a retrofit on a HP turbine on example and install only new blades it will also occur. In this case everything else in the system remains the same. After that first period the turbine efficiency only decreases slightly over a long time.
