Seeking a full time position in Southern California, as a Power Plant Operator, or related position in which present skills, experience and academic training may best be utilized.

SUMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Los Angeles Unlimited Steam Engineer license with turbine endorsement. Qualified Refuse Operator by A.S.M.E. EPA 608 I and 609 certified. Over 24 years of experience in the operation, repair, test and maintenance of boilers and support equipment. Stable work history characterized by positions of increasing responsibility and complexity.

Bell Gardens High School.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2005-Prst University California Irvine. Central Plant Operator/Building Engineer.
Operate and maintain Central Plant cogeneration plant consisting of a Solar Titan 130
combustion turbine, Deltak HRSG and related auxiliary equipment. Operate centrifugal chillers
and boilers for campus needs. Maintain air compressors, vacuum pumps, high purity water
systems, pumps, heat exchangers, valves, fans and other related auxiliary equipment.
1994-2005 Montenay Pacific Power Corporation Refuse-To-Energy Plant. QRO licensed Shift Supervisor.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of a 38mW waste-to-energy plant.
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal permits. Train shift personnel in plant operation
and safety matters. Review operating logs and plant parameters.
Submit corrective work orders. Safety committee member.
Maintain the lockout/tagout system, perform plant inspections and report
to the Operations Manager.
1992-1994 Montenay Pacific Power Corporation Refuse-To-Energy Plant. Control Room Operator.
Operate three Rockwell DCS operated, 600-PSI refuse burning boilers, a steam driven 12.47
kV generator and all related auxiliary equipment. Recognize and correct plant malfunctions.
Direct shift personnel in plant operation.
1992 Anaheim Hilton and Towers Hotel. Boiler Mechanic.
Operated and maintained three 11-PSI boilers, two hot oil boilers and heat exchangers.
1982-1992 U.S. Navy. Boiler Technician. Operate and maintain various marine propulsion plants.
