for all up coming 2005 through 2007 work on Alliant Energy’s Power Plants requiring pollution reduction equipment for compliance with the 2009 (Year) Mandate..

As the RMT-SmartBurn ® Construction Manager I was in charge of the various construction contractors installing the RMT-SmartBurn® NOx Pollution Reduction Systems on Alliant Energy-Columbia Energy Center’s Unit – 2, a 525 MW Tangent Fired CE boiler. Project Value: $12M

Designed and implemented a Quality Control program for the installation / Retrofitting of SmartBurn ® NOx Pollution Reduction Equipment on Commercial Projects.

Recently I was involved at the Alliant Energy Nelson Dewey Generating
Station in Cassville, Wisconsin supervising the upgrading of Fuel preparation and handling equipment, consisting of Fine Grind Coal Crusher Modifications, new Distribution Chutes and Coal Feeders and the Installation of 2 New 1,500 hp Crusher Drive Motors that required extensive structural modifications to the crusher house.

Installed 2 New 2000 hp FD Fan motors and VFDs along with the construction and installation of a special platform for the VFD location in the plant.

In the Alliant Iowa Power Plants I was in charge of the installation of Air
Monitoring Equipment at Alliant Energy’s M.L. Kapp Generating Station, installed
new Gravimetric Coal Feeders and Air Monitoring Equipment the
Burlington Generating Station and Their Prairie Creek Generating
Station as well as over seeing other Plant Equipment Upgrades.

T-Fired CE Boilers ever Constructed in the USA) installed parts consisting
of Mill Upgrades for a finer grind the installation of Air Monitoring
Equipment to aid in the reduction NOx Pollutants.

Managed the Installation of 12 New Ceramic Lined Coal Nozzles,
Low NOx Burner Tips Flexible Coal Pipe Couplings and added
Boiler Camera Ports on Unit-2 a T-Fired Boiler at the Alliant Energy
Columbia Generating Station in Pardeeville Wisconsin.

As Construction Site Manager, Supervised the replacement of
3Rre-entry throats and the installation of Boiler Camera Ports on
Alliant Energy’s Edgewater Unit-3 a B&W Cyclone Fired Boiler.

Supervised the installation of a Separated Over Fire Air NOx
Pollution Reduction System on a 500MW CE, T-Fired Boiler
and was the Shift Point Person for all the Outage Activities at
Alliant Energy’s Columbia Energy Center.
