Operations Manager April 2005 - present
Responsible for overseeing all facets of plant operations, maintenance, environmental compliance and safety. Accountable for plant performance, ensuring that facility meets or exceeds planned goals for generation, availability and processing. Responsible for plant safety programs, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, reporting and implementing corrective actions. Develop and maintain annual budget of $ 9.2 million, ensuring that facility meets or beats financial goals. Created various databases to measure, track and trend plant operational performance.

Shift Supervisor February 2002 – April 2005
Coordinated and managed all shift operations activities. Trained shift personnel in the theory and operation of plant specific equipment. Designed Standard Operating Procedures; for the Start-up and Shut-down and environmental control of Boilers, Turbine/Generator and auxiliary related equipment. Developed additional training manuals and programs as needed. Managed ash characterization program; guaranteeing compliance with DEP Solid Waste permit requirements. Control Room Operator March 2000 - February 2002
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of two B & W 750 ton per/day, 1300 psig, 209.4 Klb/hr modified Sterling type refuse fired boilers and auxiliaries. Monitored and recorded Continuous Emissions Monitoring system (CEM). Responsible for issuance of Lockout/Tag out permits, Confined Space permits, and Hot Work permits during general plant operation and outage situations. Coordinated operational and maintenance activities minimizing down-time.

Field Operator June 1999 – March 2000
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all Boiler auxiliary and Air Pollution Control equipment; including but not limited to Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction system, Spray Dryer Absorbers, Fabric Filter Bag house, Bottom Ash conveying system, Hydraulic system. Additional responsibilities include Turbine/Generator; Lube Oil system, Hydraulic oil system, Hydrogen system and Cooling Water system.
