Shift Supervisor February 2002 – April 2005
Coordinated and managed all shift operations activities. Trained shift personnel in the theory and operation of plant specific equipment. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of two B & W 750 ton per/day, 1300 psig, 209.4 Klb/hr modified Sterling type refuse fired boilers and auxiliaries. Monitored and recorded Continuous Emissions Monitoring system (CEM). Responsible for issuance of Lockout/Tag out permits, Confined Space permits, and Hot Work permits during general plant operation and outage situations. Coordinated operational and maintenance activities minimizing down-time.

Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all Boiler auxiliary and Air Pollution Control equipment; including but not limited to Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction system, Spray Dryer Absorbers, Fabric Filter Bag house, Bottom Ash conveying system, Hydraulic system.
