When operating, the refractory and first foot length or so (burner end) of the Morrison tube appear to glow orange. Assuming refractory is glowing due to curing the work done on it. However, concerned with the Morrison tube - perhaps possible flame impingement. Is it normal or allowable for the Morrison tube to glow? Or, is there a recommended boiler rep familiar with Kewanee for consultation (since the company no longer exists)?
What kind of burner and where is the location of installation?
