Have a Weil Mclain mod 68. The relief valve has been leaking for 3 years straight! My local service company actually suggested a hose from the pipe to the sump pump! It has been replaced twice. Not knowing anything about boilers, the water comes in,(well water), goes thru a regulator, (been replaced), and in to boiler. The expansion tank keeps filling up and thats when the valve trips. The pressure gage never goes above 20psi and temp almost never above 190°. When its leaking I get a 5 gal. bucket full in 24 hours. Do I have to drain the expansion tank once a week to keep this from happening? Thanks in advance!
