: what is true defination of cycles of concentration?
: what is its importans in boiler water treatment?
: thanks.

it is the amount higher the conductivity in your boiler or cooling twr is than your make up is.Example say boiler make up water = 60 and the water in the boiler =3500 if you divide 3500 by 60 you get your cycles 58.3 now take cycles and divide by 100 and you get your % blowdown of 1.7%.By knowing cycles you will know your blowdown rate.
