: : : We are replacing our old steam tankless boiler system. We are going for an oil-gas combination burner. The choice our plumbers gave us are a tankless 2 coild Weil Mclain 78 (1278, the largest) and HB Smith-GO-28A series. What's the opinion out there about these boilers and can anyone suggest any other dual system steam boiler?
: : : Also, in addition to the coils, is it advisable to add a storage tank for hot water? Our building meauses 50X100 and is four stories, with 35 people living in it.
: : : Thanks

: I am new to the field, but I have to say I have seen some very old HB smith installations. While I am a fan of Weil-McLain, I think that a Smith will last longer. I would recommend a PowerFlame combo fuel burner for your new boiler.

Good luck
