The Owner User Inspector (OUI) for PacifiCorp Energy will conduct inspections and investigations related to the construction, installation, maintenance, use, operation, repair and failure of boilers and pressure vessels and associated equipment in order to ensure safe operation and compliance with applicable State laws, rules and regulations.

Min. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of five years related boiler and pressure vessel experience.

Must have a current In-service Commission from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors OR have had an In-service Inspector Commission within the last two (2) years.
The successful candidate must pass the Utah State Owner/User Certificate of Competency exam within 90 days of hire.
The successful candidate must pass the Utah State Shop Only Certificate of Competency exam within 90 days of hire.
Must be physically capable to inspect boilers including crawling into confined spaces and to bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
