Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and being in business for over 28 years, our company is positioned in a part of the country which is experiencing growth in all areas of the economy. Decker Mechanical is looking to hire Boiler Technicians to its expanding Boiler Division. : Job Description : Boiler Technicians are responsible for the repair and retrofit of boiler systems, utilizing knowledge of boiler operation systems and mechanical layouts : Job Duties and Responsibilities : •Knowledge of all boiler systems and controls : •Responsible for servicing boilers and ensuring our customer’s equipment is properly repaired : •Perform combustion analysis and adjust fuel to air ratios using company furnished state of the art meters : •Properly performs all procedures associated with the maintenance and start up of all boiler systems such as Aerco, Cleaver Brooks, Hurst, Webster, Riello, Weishaupt and Limpsfield : •Perform repairs on linkage less control systems for AutoFlame, Siemens, and Fireye. (Certifications preferred) : •Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schematics, and understand engineering specifications to diagnose and repair all issues on boilers : •Diagnose, analyze, and repair boiler, and boiler controls at customer’s locations : •Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as needed or requested by our customers : •Prepares and coordinates installation and repairs by examining all different situations on the job site and gathering all needed equipment, tooling, supplies and parts : •Perform other work that is required : •Provide technical support to our customers : •Complete work orders and all required documents for each : •Maintain company owned tooling and supplies on company furnished vehicle : •Travel to some of our customers will require overnight travel at times : •Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and on call schedule at times : •Work under minimal supervision and follow instructions : Requirements : •Valid driver’s license with good driving record : •At least five (5) years experience with boiler maintenance and repairs : •Basic hand tools : •Ability to read, write and understand correspondence with others : •Ability to maintain a professional attitude and take great pride in your ability to make and perform quality repairs : •Ability to work independently and with others : Benefits : •Company subsidized medical, dental, and eye care insurance : •Retirement plan program : •Company paid holidays : •Company paid life insurance : •Relocation assistance for right person : •Excellent Pay
