Process Manager

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) was established in 1972 to
convey and treat wastewater in Cleveland and surrounding communities. As a leader in
wastewater management, the NEORSD has an operating budget of over $90 million
dollars, a capital budget of over $100 million dollars, and an employee population of
more than 600.

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is currently searching for a Process
Manager. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the Process Manager plans, organizes and coordinates the management and operation of one or more
wastewater treatment processes, and ensures unit process activities result in regulatory compliance. The Process Manager provides technical assistance to plant personnel and
engineering staff; assists with unit process modifications and start-ups; and develops and prepares reports for internal and external uses. The Process Manager also performs
other duties of a similar nature as may be required.
The successful candidate must have an Associates degree or equivalent, and five (5)years of progressively responsible experience in steam plant operation and/or
maintenance, with at least one (1) year of related supervisory experience. The
successful candidate must have knowledge of supervisory principles and the ability to analyze and make skilled judgments relative to indicators of normal or abnormal
conditions with respect to boiler and/or incineration equipment. Candidates must
possess good oral and written communication and computer skills; the ability to plan, organize and supervise others; present ideas clearly, orally and in writing; and establish
and maintain effective working relationships with others. A valid Third Class state of Ohio Stationary Engineers License, and a valid state of Ohio driver’s license with a driving record in accordance with the District’s acceptable guidelines is required.
