Job Title: -- Boiler Technician (Journeyman)

Job Summary: -- To service and troubleshoot various types of commercial HVAC boilers and systems, to include, but not limited to the following:

· Gas fired hot water boilers (500k btu _ 3M btu)

· Gas fired steam boilers (low pressure)

· Electric fired steam boilers (low pressure)

· Package unit heaters

Able to analyze and perform necessary repairs to electrical, controls, mechanical failures, motors and perform manufacturer preventative maintenance requirements.

Must be experienced in NX, CO, CO2 and other related air mixture principles to achieve boiler efficiencies and to meet AQMD operating parameters.

Must have the ability to multi-task, be organized, attention to detail, dependable, own hand tools, be a team player.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -- The opening is for on-site technician at the JPL NASA facility in Pasadena, CA. The project is approx. 3 million SF with more than 200 buildings on campus.

Qualifications: --

· 5+ years of commercial boiler experience

· 4 year apprenticeship program or technical schooling

· LA boiler licensed a plus

· HVAC technical skills a plus

· EMS experience a plus

· Valid drivers license

· Must be willing to submit to a drug screen/background check
