Boiler Plant Engineer for a solid fuel power generation company in the Newark, NJ area
Seeking a hands on Plant Boiler Engineer experienced with Solid Fuel Boilers.
The Plant Engineer will manage the Boiler Condition Assessment Program in order to achieve plant availability goals.
- Coordinate engineering projects including planning and executing boiler inspections, QA/QC programs, work outages and maintenance of boilers.
- Work with plant Maintenance and Operations departments to assure adherence to all specifications and repair procedures.
- Develop engineering specifications and standards pertaining to boiler tubes, overlays, shield, refractory, etc.
Requirements:
BS Engineer (preferably Mechanical)
5+ Years experience working with solid fuel boilers
Knowledge of ASME Boiler Code
Project Management skills
Waste to Energy experience a plus
