Sometime in October there will be a position for a utility systems operator at the VA Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. This position will pay $25. to start and will go up to near $30. within 5 years. There are yearly cost of living raises as well; not to mention all of the benefits of being a Federal employee. 13 sick days and over 20 days vacation per year!!! You will be able to find this position on usajobs.opm.gov. It will only be open for 2 weeks, so check back often. Work is easy. 3 gas/oil fired boilers and 3 centrifigal chillers. Air conditioned office, TV, cable, internet. I will be leaving this position to relocate with my family and want to make sure they get some good qualified candidates.
