They are currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer : QUALIFICATIONS : Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent : ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : With significant and appropriate experience of systems design in a process engineering environment you will be working within the Systems and Pipe work group, providing Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P& Id's) for the power generation industry. You will be involved with the design of P & ID's, pipe sizing, selection of materials and material thickness and selection of Valve Types. : You will have:- : Thermodynamic understanding of Steam and Water and pressure drop capability : Understanding of valve characteristics (CV & pressure drop) vent and drain requirements : Basic functional understanding of the following equipment: : Fans, Pumps, Air Heaters (gas and steam), Heat Exchangers, Blow Down Vessels and Safety Valves : Full details on request
