: We are looking for boiler service technicians to join our growing company. : Boiler Service Technicians needed for Greenville, SC and Columbia, Charlotte and Raleigh, NC: : : Understanding and experience with: : : • Industrial firetube and watertube boilers - scotch marine firetube boilers, and package watertube boilers of various manufacturers. : : • Burner Control Systems - installing, troubleshooting, and servicing various types of Linkageless and PLC Burner Management Systems such as Fireye, Honeywell, Autoflame, and other U.L. listed flame safeguard systems. : : • Various micro modulation (linkageless or electronic parallel positioning) control systems and principals of operation. : : • Starting up, servicing, and setting fuel air mixtures for various boiler and process burners. : : • Forced draft combustion of multiple fuels. : : • Local air quality control standards. : : • Starting up and servicing various controls on ancillary boiler room equipment such as DA tanks, Blow down vessels, Feed water controls, etc. : : • Water quality, softeners and maintenance : : Specific for Service Technicians : : • Ability to locate manufacturers and research systems for proper operation guidelines. : : • Experience performing inspections, service, minor piping & refractory, installation and mechanical systems. : : • Working knowledge of electricity and electrical systems - understand the difference between control voltage, supply voltage, and low voltage. AC and DC voltage controls. : : • 24-hour rotational on call required.
