Effective working under pressure and within time constraints while maintaining a bottom-line sensitivity.

Assigned to USS NASSAU, USS IWO JIMA, USS BATAAN, USS WASP, USS KEARSARGE AND USS SAIPAN trouble desk Engineer, responsible for overseeing main propulsion boiler inspections and related work items. Prepared Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions. Answer all related DR’S Prepared and/or worked on assigned projects including layouts, arrangements, design, computations, selection of materials. Also write and answer DR’s for all related main propulsion valves and piping systems. Assigned fly away team leader for USS NASSAU emergent main steam piping repairs in the Red sea.

Assist code 261 with Engineering work Instructions for nuclear powered aircraft carrier secondary propulsion systems. CVN Hagon Feed pump controls and fossil fuel propulsion plants. Qualified as a J worker to trouble shoot secondary propulsion systems conduct poet visits.

Perform detailed work breakdown of engineering drawings and conduct system updates by performing ship checks on ship board system. Determine the best method for fabrication of products. Produce detailed work instructions in support of shop fabrication, assembly, and shipboard construction.

Assist in the resolution of technical problems concerning engineering objectives, processes, equipment, and products. Resolve and propose resolutions for design, construction and operational problems in ships’ systems based on previous experience on specific ships and in specific systems while working closely with production personnel. Resolve discrepancies and process requests for waivers and deviations. Troubleshoot systems and equipment problems..

Prepare technical reports and correspondence concerning estimates, project progress, and evaluation for review by appropriate management and engineering personnel. Support supervisor in fulfilling administrative needs in establishing, grooming, and meeting schedules for design products.

• Currently assigned to Engineering Department code 268 Norfolk Navy Shipyard.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, Haystack, AIM Data, JEDMICS, MRQT, and Shared Data Environment IT
