Two zones - will also need to open the zone valves, but I can do that manually of needed.

The 8124 control is there to keep the boiler warm so you can have hot water available. To keep the circulator running, you'll need to disable the low limit feature - not that simply done without other complications. You could run two wires from the oil safety relay TT terminals, removing the jumper there, and run the wires upstairs to a switch to keep the burner off while the thermostats call for heat from the zone valves. All would work to open the zone valves with the thermostat and start the circulator without the burner running until you closed the switch again.
