As the hot water will be used as described, I prefer to have a relay to prevent the indirect pump run while the thermostat is calling for heat. That way, the indirect will use the residual hot water from the boiler after a heating cycle over several hours.
The system 2000 and Peerless controls pump the remaining hot water to their indirect from a boiler after the heating cycle to improve the efficiency of the boiler instead of wasting that heat from 210F down to the restarting of the burner on a heat cycle.
