The gauge class valves are probably closed by now. If you have had your low water cutoff serviced and have been blowing it clear of mud this season, then the low water cutoff should be working so you wouldn't worry. If the boiler won't burn because the water is too low, fill it some minutes until the top gauge glass valve drips water, then close it. Drain a little water, keeping it above the lower gauge glass valve level and all should be well.
