I had an older switch (Potter IFS-1) with a shorter paddle. I put that in place of the broken switch and adjusted the sensitivity so the switch closes with flow and opens when I disconnect the pump. Someone I was speaking with said that we may actually have a low velocity situation as the piping is all 2" except where it goes through the copper tube boiler (1.5" inlet and outlet) as well as the Ergomax tank (also 1.5"). There is probably 20-25 feet of 2" copper piping.
