Hi, first time trying to maintain a boiler system. We noticed our boiler shows instructions on draining a bucket of the water once a week turning the valve a quarter counter-clock wise. The handle has a stop so it can only go that much. But when I turn the valve nothing drains out. I've had it open all day and got about 2 cups worth of water.
Should I try and take the handle off and turning it more (in the theory that its set too tight and not opening enough), or is it possible the drain is clogged?
