Hi Heatpro, Simple question for you. When water boils in boiler and the expanding process is going on, that is oxygen being boiled out, that would be I guess only happen when the boiler had fresh water put in it that was not boiled yet. Anyway a lot of plumbers like to leave the water feed line left on. The water when it is boiled and the expanding is going on and water is going into the expansion tank then the water fill is letting more water into the system right? Then when it cools it cant let it out because of backflow preventer. Then the process starts all over again. I know eventually the oxygen will be all gone, but what happens to the water when it is being boiled then? It just seems something has to give, Like the bladder inside the expansion tank would just blow.

Also I went to your purge site, but I want to ask you direct to make sure I understand it. When you balance the system, if you have 12psi boiler pressure you want the expansion tank to have 12psi in bladder right? Does it matter if water is cold or does it make a difference when you should do this balancing?
