This is kind of an old question, I just moved into this house, and I think I over filled the glass tube... The repair man can't come till next week...
So now the burner turns off after running for only a few seconds, and we aren't getting any hot water.

There is the one knob (like an outdoor faucet) at the top of the glass tube, there are also two more knobs that are attached to spigots. all of these are on the left hand side of the boiler.

My question is does anyone know which knobs to turn, and how much... (like how open should the one on the glass tube be?) and which one of the two spigots do I turn on to let water out (the top or the bottom?).

When I open either of them, water comes out of both...

Thank you for your help.
