The house we bought has two 275 gal oil tanks in the basement. Whenever we get an oil delivery, they need to fill very slowly or they cant fill up. One tank fills faster than the other. Everyone agrees the tanks have been plumbed wrong. The problem is 4 different furnace/oil guys have given us 4 different solutions.I dont want to change it all and still have the same problem. Is there a standard/approved method to tandem 2 tanks? Is there really more than one RIGHT way to do it? Im sure they thought the original way was right...it passed the final plumbing inspection!
