Just had a new weil mclain ultra oil fired boiler installed. It will sometimes fire (cycle) on and off 20 times an hour. Is this normal? Also yesterday the temp dropped to 100 and I had limited heat. Service came said it had an E1 error code and the sensor needed to be replaced (waiting for the part). In the meantime I asked if the repeated cycling was related to defective sensor and the service person didn't know but he has in the past said that the cycling is not a problem but an indication of the high efficiency of the boiler. Is this right? Thanks.
