Some air will stubbornly stay in remote places against all reason, it is always a percentage of gases throughout water. After a while, some more gets to the air purger. After you've found no annoying noises, just open the valve cover once a season or when passing to get the little bit that might collect. It can take many seasons to move. As long as you don't see a significant pressure drop, all is well.
