Condensing boilers are most efficient when used on low temp systems like radiant floor heat. I've had good luck installing the Utica USC boiler over the years. Check to see if your gas company offers energy star rebates for boilers, many do. I would find out which plumbing supplier carries the boiler you decide to have installed, and ask a counter person to give you a couple of names of plumbers who buy that particular boiler..
