An ordinary water solenoid valve can open the hot water line to the shower/bath.

A dial timer, like a fan timer, on the wall can apply the electricity. Put the dial timer in a visible place outside the bathroom to control the shower.

OR

Get an electric timer to do the same with a button to activate the circuit in the same place.
